Rhonda Topous (Berry), 57, passed away on March 21, 2025, in Lady Lake, Florida, with her loving family at her side.

Rhonda was born on September 6th, 1967, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, to the late William and Faye (Brendle) Berry. She grew up in West Bloomfield and moved to Traverse City in the early 1990s to be closer to her family.

On August 8, 2008, she married the love of her life Kurtis Topous at the Frog Pond in Interlochen—a place that held special meaning for them both.

Rhonda's greatest joy in life was being a grandmother. She also had a deep love for jewelry making, traveling, and monkeys. She was known for her incredible lasagna, chili, and hot salsa, and she shared her cooking and her heart generously with everyone around her.
Rhonda was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Her warmth, laughter, and caring spirit will be deeply missed.

Rhonda is survived by her husband Kurt; her daughters Amanda and Crystal Berry as well as her grandchildren, Amara Sparks, Isa Ealy, Malekeh Abdul-Aziz, Tasleem Abdul-Aziz, her sisters Theresa Spence and Belinda (Paul) Stack and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jordan, brother William Berry and brother-in-law William Spence.

A memorial service will be held on June 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with a visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.
