Rhonda Joan Ramsey, age 70, of Traverse City, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 15,2024, at her home with her sister Terry McCray by her side. Rhonda was born on April 4, 1954 to Richard Hornaday and Phylis Piatt.

Rhonda graduated from Colonel White High School in 1972. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, surrounding her room with their pictures. She enjoyed visiting PaceNorth for socializing and crafts. She had many friends there and is remembered fondly by the staff. She loved growing her tomatoes, and sadly did not get a chance to start them this year. In her free time, she enjoyed puzzles and reality shows.

Rhonda joins her late son Jason Hornaday in the next life, and is survived by her daughters Dyann Burden, Patricia Carson, Samantha Johnson, her sister Terry McCray and her cat Fifi.

Per her wishes, there will not be a memorial service for Rhonda.
