Richard "Dick" F. Bauer of Traverse City, died March 16, 2017.
He was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee from Lansing, MI and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division.
He is survived by his wife, Marge, of Traverse City; one daughter, Rosemary (Charles) Hulett of Traverse City; and three sons, Richard J. (Colleen) of Interlochen, Steven E. (Susan) of Essexville, and Frank J. (Susan) of Traverse City. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, at St. Francis Catholic Church, with visiting one hour prior.
Richard's final resting place will be Oakwood Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Michigan in Richard's honor.
