TRAVERSE CITY — Richard L. "Rich" Keaton, 71, of Traverse City, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City.Rich was born Thursday, June 30, 1938, in Traverse City. He graduated from Traverse City High School and worked as a roofer prior to his retirement.Rich had a great love for gardening as well as collecting antique bottles. He enjoyed researching where old dump sites were so that he could search for the antique bottles.Rich is survived by his brother, Bill (Susan) Husby, of Traverse City, and a niece, Monica Amormino.Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Henry Husby, and by several very close friends.Visitation for friends and family will be held Wednesday, June 30, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.Funeral services for Rich will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 1, also at the funeral home.
