Richard Adrian Rademaker, 83, of Traverse City passed away on Sunday, April 03, 2016 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.

Richard was born on June 24, 1932 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Jay and Irene (VandenBout) Rademaker. He married Florence M. Korhorn on September 24, 1954, also in Grand Rapids.

Honorably, Richard served our Country in the United States Airforce. He worked for Gourdie, Fraser and Associates for over 30 years. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed watching U of M football games and spending time with his family.

Surviving Richard is his wife Florence of 61 years. Children: Judy Norris, Donald (Lori) Rademaker, Michael (Debra) Rademaker and Steven (Laura) Rademaker. Grandchildren: William Norris, Robert Norris, Sarah (Steve) Synko, Megan Rademaker, Nickolas Rademaker, and Scott (Heidi) Rademaker. Great Grandchildren: Alexander Norris, Jackson Rademaker, and Elivia Norris. Brother and Sisters: Jean Rice, Mina Van't Hof, John Rademaker, and Mary (Richard) Carlson. Brother and Sisters-in-law: Dorothy Heydenburg, Mildred Dykstra, Helen DeBack, and Cornelius (Martha) Korhorn. Plus many, many nieces and nephews.
