Robert "Bob" Arthur, 72, of Interlochen passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at his home. Bob was born on October 14, 1941 in Flint, Michigan to the late Forrest and Amelia (Kozar) Robinson Sigerfoos. Bob had been employed Boeing, retiring in 2000. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1960-1964. He attended The Ohio State University and was a loyal Buckeye. He loved to read. Serving as the Treasurer for the Interlochen Public Library was very dear to his heart.
Bob is survived by a daughter, Dana (Colin) Robinson Slote, a son, Grant (Chloe) Robinson, two grandchildren - Brody Slote and Ruby Robinson, a brother, Jack (Joan) Robinson and his life partner, Jane C. Hardwicke. Also surviving are a nephew, Michael Robinson, and many cousins.
A memorial service honoring Bob will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. that same morning.
