Robert Joseph "Bob" Chadwick, 64, of Traverse City, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Bob was born on Friday, September 24, 1954 to the late Harold and Connie (LeClair) Chadwick in Traverse City. He attended Mount Clemens schools and following his graduation, he attended NMC where he earned his associates degree in automotive technology.

A long-time resident of the area, Bob had worked for several companies in Traverse City, including Tower Automotive. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Parish and was an avid fisherman. He was a gifted guitarist and enjoyed anything outdoors. He loved the simple things in life and also enjoyed woodworking, using tools he had inherited from his Dad. He was also an avid fan of the Detroit Pistons, rarely missing the chance to watch one of their games.

Bob is survived by his children, Renee (Travis) Lark of Traverse City, Raymond Sivek of Traverse City; his grandchildren Ava and Cyrus Lark and his brother and sister, Bill (Marilyn) Chadwick of Syracuse, NY and Coletta (Dave) Taylor of Kingsley, along with several nieces and nephews, and his stepmom June Chadwick. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Bob will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 16 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with the service celebrating his life beginning at 11 a.m. Deacon Rene Hoenscheid will officiate. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Bellaire at a later date.
