TRAVERSE CITY – Robert D. Foust, age 86, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Cherry Hill Haven of Kalkaska in the loving care of his family.
Robert D. Foust, 86, was born October 8, 1931 to Judson W. and A. Virginia (Sutherland) Foust in Mt. Pleasant.
After four years in the Navy Airforce during the Korean Conflict he graduated from Central Michigan University in 1957 with an MBA following a Bachelor degree in business administration.
Bob married Betty J. Smith in august of 1952, daughter of Charles R. and Arvilla J. (Darling) Smith in Mt. Pleasant. Bob and Betty had three children.
After graduation he spent his working life as an accountant or banker. His final position was with Traverse City State Bank.
Bob is survived by his wife Betty, of 66 years and his children; Robert Douglas, Charles William and Linda (Karen) Foust.
In honor of Robert's request, cremation has taken place and private interment services will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
