Robert LeRoy Goff, 98, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Traverse Manor. Robert was born on April 22, 1924 in Billings, Oklahoma to the late Robert and Rose (Schilling) Goff. He married the love of his life Jeane Louise Inauen on July 2, 1955 in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 2000.

Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII with the 727th Amphibious Tractor Battalion in the Pacific theater. He was a life member of Cherryland V.F.W. post 2780. He had been employed as a materials supervisor with Shell Oil Company, retiring in 1986 after over 35 years of service. In his spare time Bob loved to read and travel. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy.

Bob is survived by his two loving daughters; Robin (Edward) Jacobi and Leslie (Walter) Liebler, four grandchildren; Andrew Jacobi, Brendan Jacobi, Patrick Liebler and Rachel (Scott Ciaglaski) Liebler. Also surviving are two great-grandsons; Dean and Reed as well as a sister, Joyce Clark, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law; O. Dean (Shirley) Goff and a brother-in-law, James F. Clark.

In accordance with Robert's wishes cremation has taken place.
