Robert Lou King, Sr., 84, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at his home. He was born on February 3, 1929. Bob was married to Beverly Baker on May 2, 1953. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and is a Korean War Veteran.

Surviving are his loving wife, Beverly; two sons and a daughter; Robert (Beth) King, Jr., Frank (Carolyn) King and Marybeth Jenks; three grandchildren; Waylon Jenks, Franchesca Jenks and Katherine Kings; also a great-grandson, Gryphon Bell.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Verna King; a brother, Richard Fountaine and his, twin brother, William King.

In accordance with Bob's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned for a date.
