TRAVERSE CITY — Robert "Bob" Lewis Brady, 85, of Traverse City, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.
Bob was born on Nov. 15, 1929 in Fremont Township, in Saginaw, to the late James and Sarah (McDonald) Brady. He married Janice Elaine Turner on Oct. 24, 1964.
Bob honorably served our country in the United States Navy.
Bob worked and retired from Midland Ross in Owosso. He was a parishioner at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, going to the library and gardening. Bob will fondly be remembered as a wonderful husband and friend whom will be deeply missed.
Surviving Bob is his wife, Janice, of 50 years, sister, Alice Arquette, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Rosemary Callahan and Colleen Graham; and beloved dogs, Patches and Annie.
Visitation for Bob will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with a rosary held at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will take place at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
