Robert Daniel Marsh, beloved husband and father, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the age of 67.

Bob was born on July 6, 1958 to the late Frederick & Gertrude (Miles) Marsh. He married the love of his life, Susan (Johnson) Marsh and together, they raised two daughters. Bob served as a K-9 Deputy in Washtenaw County for many years before an injury on the job led to an early retirement. Beyond his occupation, his heart for helping people carried over into all aspects of his life, whether it was helping coach his daughter's sports teams or lending a helping hand to anyone in time of need. He was always willing to do anything for anyone.

Bob will be dearly missed by his wife of 35 years, Susan "Susie" Marsh; daughters, Lauren Marsh, Aimee (Jacob) Grove; sister, Christine (Whitney) Prince; siblings-in-law, Tom (Becky) Johnson, Patty (Chuck) Wren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick & Gertrude Marsh, and his in-laws, Bill & Rosemary Johnson.

To honor Bob's love for the sun, palm trees, and warm weather, a Memorial Gathering celebrating his life will be held in the Spring/Summer of 2026. Specific details will be posted at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the National Police Dog Foundation ( www.nationalpolicedogfoundation.org ) or an organization that supports the making and/or repair of bullet proof vests for police K-9s.
