Robin Lee Tezak, 68, of Williamsburg passed away on June 3, 2024 with his family by his side.

Robin was born on January 12, 1956 in Frankfort to the late Frank William and Kay Ann (Robinson) Tezak. Robin was definitely a momma's boy, he would make sure to stop by her house almost every day, even if it was just to grab an ice cream bar from the freezer. He often spoke about 'Big Mumma', his maternal Grandmother Evelyn Robinson, and the great times spent at her home in Frankfort.

In his youth, Robin enjoyed playing sports such as bowling, baseball, and football. During this time, Robin also developed a fondness for the outdoors. Among his favorite experiences was a fly-in fishing trip to the Northwest Territories with his father, and the many trips to the family cabin in Canada. He found great joy being in the woods quietly listening to the sounds of nature. Countless hours were spent sitting near the top of a hill overlooking a pasture and swamp on his father-in-laws farm, watching for deer and other wildlife. This passion for hunting and nature helped to spark the connection between him and the love of his life.

On August 20, 1988, he married Betty Ann White. Together they shared nearly 36 years and raised two wonderful sons. Robin found a new calling in raising his boys. He enjoyed showing them the passions of his youth and helped to show them how to share their love with others. Whether Robin did this through caring for his beautiful gardens or spoiling his Labradors, Maverick and Rudy, one thing always rang true, 'fight for the things you care about.'

Robin is survived by his wife Betty; their sons Adam and Andrew; sister Kandice Tezak; brother Kim (Tina) Tezak; and many other extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on June 20, 2024 at 11:00am, with visitation one hour before at the First Presbyterian Church in Elk Rapids. He will be laid to rest at the Yuba Cemetery at a later date.
