Rodney "Jerry" Hulbert, Sr. passed away on July 6, 2023. He was born in Traverse City to Raymond and Dela (Thompson) Hulbert on June 14, 1954 and in 1977, he married the love of his life, Amy Weber.

Jerry had a long career with Essex, United Tech and Lear Corporation. He also enjoyed traveling, being the DJ for events, but what he loved the most, was spending time with family and friends, especially spoiling the grandkids. You could always find Jerry with a smile on his face.

He is survived by his wife Amy; children RJ Hulbert, Rebecca (Jason) Fountain, Rhojo (Kevin) Crick, Mike (Joni) Pouzar; grandchildren Sierra, Payton, and Montana Nagy, Chloe and Tanner Crick, Isaiah Farris and Mason Hulbert; his siblings Rich (Reggi) Hulbert, Robin Jackson and Ronda Hubbell; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Jerry is proceeded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law James and Maureen (Hoagland) Weber; his son Raymond Hulbert; brothers Jeff, Jim, and John Hulbert, along with other family and friends

A service and celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Rose Hill Cemetery located at S. Fritz Road and M-72. The family will welcome guests starting at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Ken Stachnik will offer a committal service at 2:00 p.m. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Kasson Township Hall, 10988 S. Newman Road, Maple City, MI 49664.
