Dr. Roger Paul Myers DDS, 79, of Traverse City passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024 with family by his side.

Roger was born on June 18, 1944 in Cleveland, OH to the late Norman Francis and LaVerne (Redding) Myers.

On July 30, 1966, after courting for five years, Roger married his soul mate, Martha Jeanne Frank in Sand Lake, MI. Together they have shared 57 years of marriage, built a beautiful family and made countless wonderful memories.

Roger was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a proud 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.

He owned and operated his own dental office for many years and retired in 2001.

In his free time he enjoyed tinkering in his barn, reading, tackling yard work, farming and woodworking. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Norman and Steven.

Roger is survived by his wife Martha; their children Aimee (Carl) Valentine, Jason (Tracy) Myers, Julie Carroll, Rebecca (Todd) Schubert; grandchildren William (Whitney) Valentine, Gabriel Valentine, Madeline Valentine, Jalen and Emily Myers, Chase Ryley and Kalum Carroll, and Martha and Everett Schubert; and great grandchildren Waldyn, Wrennly, & Wylder.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 with visitation beginning one hour prior at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

A celebration of Roger's life will be held this summer on July 20, 2024 at their beloved Bewitched Farm where all are invited to come together to celebrate Roger.
