CEDAR — Roland Levi "Ron" Lautner, 70, of Cedar, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, June 7, 2011, at his home. Born July 8, 1940, on the family farm near Cedar, he was the son of the late Alvin and Arlene (Bohrer) Lautner. Ron was a very quiet and unassuming man who thoroughly enjoyed his 40-year career with Munson Medical Center working in the Maintenance Department. He will fondly be remembered for his kindness to others.He is survived by his siblings, Harold (Frances) Lautner, of Cedar, and Maxine (Willie) Neilson, of Hunt, Texas; along with many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Ron was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lee Lautner. Memorial services will be held at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, 2011, at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. His cremated remains will be buried at Oakwood Cemetery next to his parents. In remembrance of Ron, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cedar Fire and Rescue Squad.
