Ronney R. Mccrum

Ronney Richard McCrum, 70, of Traverse City, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016.

Ronney was born in Jackson, MI on January 10, 1946. He married Jeanine Culver in December of 1972 in Lansing.

Ronney was an exceptional baker for most of his life. He worked at Dunkin Donuts in his younger years and at Meijer's for over 30 dedicated years. Ronney's true passion was bicycles. He enjoyed fixing them and selling them. He fondly will be remembered as the "Bike Man."

When he was not fixing bikes he enjoyed fishing, camping, and garage sales. Family was the most important thing to Ronney. He loved his wife, each of his children, his many grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Surviving Ronney is his wife Jeanine of 43 years; children, Ronald (Colleen) McCrum, Brenda (David) Branham, Angela (David) Niccum, Michael (Lindsey) McCrum, Christa McCrum, and Melissa (Matthew) Johnson; grandchildren, Tyler, Betsy, Casey, Ashley, Joshua, Daisy, Jaxon, Oliva Ann, Roland, Clayton, and Clara; siblings, Donald, Larry, Gary, Barbara Ann, Dennis and many other loving family members and friends.

Ronney is preceded in death by his mother Thelma.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 22, also at the Funeral Home.
