Rosalie Kay Johnson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. Born on June 16, 1946, Rosalie spent most of her life in Bear Lake, Michigan, and also lived in Manistee, Onekama, and later Traverse City.

Rosalie was known for her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and love for life. She enjoyed dancing, reading, snowmobiling, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Her laughter and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband Roger "Joe" Johnson.

She is survived by her two children, Ronda Grindel (and husband John) of Traverse City, Michigan, and Rick Johnson (and wife Lisa) of San Tan Valley, Arizona; her cherished grandchildren, Chase McMaster and Luke McMaster of Traverse City, Michigan, and Caroline Johnson of Novi, Michigan; and numerous nieces and a nephew who loved her dearly.

Rosalie's legacy is one of love, joy, and togetherness—a life well-lived and deeply cherished.
