Rosalie P. Piechocki of Traverse City, Michigan (formerly of Lincoln Park, Michigan) passed away on March 10, 2022. Rosalie was born to Paul and Mildred (Geb) on January 19, 1939.

Rosalie was the eldest of two children in Detroit, Michigan. Due to unfortunate circumstances, she at the age of nine took on household roles like cooking, cleaning, and caring for her younger brother. She was an excellent student and a gifted artist and musician during her junior and senior high school years. In 1957, Rosalie graduated from the School of Commerce in Detroit, MI.

Rosalie was married to her beloved husband of 63 years. Those years together with her husband were filled with many great memories that included her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Rosalie loved her five sons, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

In Rosalie's free time, counted cross stitching was her favorite way to pass her time. She made hundreds of these beautiful pieces of art, which are framed and adorned throughout her house. Rosalie loved to travel in the United States and took many trips with her children in her later life. She loved to talk about these experiences often and fondly. Rosalie was faithful to her Roman Catholic beliefs and participation.

Rosalie is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years Raymond J. Piechocki; loving children Raymond, Christopher (Kimberley), Joseph (Jennifer), Benjamin, and Paul (Cynthia) Piechocki; grandchildren Nicole, Christopher, Julie, Ashley, Jessica, Joey, Adam, Paul and Brian; great-grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Peter, Emma, Theresa, Gabriel, Lily, Mary Elizabeth, Elliot, Hannah, Elaina and Abigail; and brother Daniel Geb.

Relatives and friends may call on the family during a time of visitation from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be presided by Fr. James Hayden at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 308 North Cedar Street, Traverse City, MI 49684. There will be a visitation at church one hour prior to Mass. There will be a time of fellowship, food and refreshments immediately following Mass.

Rosalie will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery, Traverse City, MI.
