Roxanne Carolin (Henigan) Thompson (aka Roxie/Rocky) went home to be with Jesus July 04, 2024, at the age of 81 years, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI.

Roxie is preceded in death by her spouse (Robert Thompson), her Parents (Helen and Robert Henigan, Ruth Skellett), and 2 of her siblings (Frank Henigan and Daniel Henigan).

Rocky is survived by her 3 children (Molly Thompson (Shane Van Ostrand-spouse), John Thompson (Teresa-spouse) ,and Laine (Squeek) Thompson (Christy Spouse); 6 grandchildren (Danyel, Shawna, Courtney, Tyler Thompson, Lisa Jewell, & Joshua Fesik) & 1 great grandchild (Alec Jewell).

She is also survived by her siblings (Susan Dennett, Leslie Badilla (Mike-spouse), Patrick, Sally, Robert, and Tim Henigan).

Roxie was able to move back to her hometown of Buckley, Michigan from Warren, Michigan some years ago, and spent her time caring for the home and her sister Sally (and her husband Bob until 2020). She also enjoyed reading, watching the birds, doing word puzzles, listening to classic country music, and playing Pinochle.

This is what she wanted, the country life near her siblings for her remaining years, and it brought her peace and joy.

Loved by all, missed by all (especially her little dog Buster), her absence is felt by many.

Memorial service will be held at Buckley Gospel Tabernacle; 213 W Wexford Ave.; Buckley, MI 49620 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
