Ruby" Lee" Bowers, 83, of Traverse City, formerly of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Glenn Eagle.
Lee was born on May 27, 1941, in Whitehall, Illinois, to the late Truman and Inez (Richard) Ransom. She had five siblings, Stanley (Ruth Ann) Ransom, Virginia (Jim) Bettis, Wanda (Gerald) Hester, Linda (Dave) Martin, Ronnie (Carol) Ransom
She married William Thomas Wyatt Sr., and together they lovingly raised three wonderful children: Sandy, Rich, and Tom.
Lee later found love again and married Earl Bowers, on June 30, 1984. She gained a step-son E. Grant Bowers.
Lee spent many years working as a loan officer in the banking industry. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, was a talented seamstress, and had a great collection of sewing machines. She had a deep love for her dogs and was an avid Denver Broncos fan, especially during the John Elway era.
Lee and Earl cherished their time together in Colorado fishing, being outdoors, camping, and spending time at their cabin.
Lee was a wonderful mother and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, William "Tom" Thomas (Debbie) Wyatt Jr., grandchildren, Reeanna, Brad, Katie and Sophie, great grandchildren Kiara, Kya, Tiberius, three of her siblings, and several other family members.
Lee is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and her children Rich and Sandy.
A private family gathering will take place at a later time.
