Traverse City - Ruth Ann Bont, 67, of Traverse City passed away March 26, 2017 at her home.
Ruth Ann was born on October 15, 1949 in Muskegon to Elsworth Edgar and the late Ruth Gladys (Carlson) Bont.
Ruth Ann was a strong, independent and caring nurse. She was very patient, accepting and kind. She was a good friend to all.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her mother Ruth.
Ruth Ann is survived by her daughters Lori Lynn Mayette and Lisa Marie Mayette, best friend and partner David W. Walker, father Elsworth Bont; sisters Patricia Sandoval and Mary Lou (Reginald) Workman; brother Timothy Dale Bont; grandson Nicholas Laird and great grandchildren Bennet Laird, Zachary (Bucket) Finkel.
Ruth Ann's family will celebrate her life privately.
