It is with grateful hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend, Ruth Ann Graf, age 86, of Grawn, Michigan. Ruth peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Born on September 19, 1939, in Grand Traverse County, Michigan, Ruth was the daughter of Theodore and Ireta (Flesher) Weidenhamer. On October 12, 1957, she married Richard August Graf. Together they shared 62 years of marriage.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; four sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by her children: Jared (Elizabeth) Graf, Pamela (Van) Dorman, Rebecca (Gary) Hunt, and Mark (Eleanor) Graf; 13 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Doris Ackerman, Larry Weidenhamer, and Betty (Chuck) Jylha.
Ruth's life was a testament to her unwavering faith in God and her deep love for His Word. She poured her heart and soul into homemaking and caring for those around her. Ruth possessed an extraordinary gift for hospitality. Her home was a place where everyone was treated like family, and her table was always set with a warm welcome and delicious food. Many will remember her homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate, and the comfort of gathering around her table. Her greatest joy was caring for those she loved.
More than anything, Ruth desired that those she loved would know and follow Jesus Christ. Her faith guided every aspect of her life and remained steadfast through both joys and trials.
Though her family mourns her absence, they rejoice in the assurance that she is now safely home with her Savior, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:15
