Kingsley - Ruth E. Green, 68, of Kingsley passed away May 6, 2012 at Munson Hospice House after a short battle with cancer.

Ruth was born on April 16, 1944 in Trenton to the late Frederick and Bonnie Jean (Lathrop) Hodges.

Ruth was a valued employee at Sara Lee for 28 years prior to her retirement in 2010. In her spare time she enjoyed collecting antiques, bargain hunting at Goodwill and reading. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Raquel (Bob)Paulus of Kingsley, son Richard Green of Kingsley, and daughter Ryanne (Darrell) Ockert of Ionia, brothers Frederick (Barbara) Hodges of Norfolk, VA and Richard (Linda) Hodges of White Cloud and sister Barbara (Howard) Shafer of White Cloud, and grandchildren Cassandra Green, Derek Bosley, Lauren Ockert, Caleb Ockert, and Hunter Green.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, brothers James and Robert Hodges and son Randell Green.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 5 to 7 pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in memory of Ruth may be directed to Goodwill.
