TRAVERSE CITY — Sally Michod Matson, 54, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully Monday, May 23, 2011, with her children by her side at Munson Medical Center.Sally was born Dec. 2, 1956, in Chicago, to the late Charles L. and Florence (Wise) Michod.Sally was full of joy and compassion that touched the hearts of everyone she knew. She actively served those around her with her gifts of hospitality and warm-heartedness. Her love for Christ brought her to the country of Haiti, where she supported a family and their young child.Those who knew Sally will fondly remember her treat-bags and gift-giving. She was a joyful person who never lost her child-like wonder and never missed an opportunity to celebrate life. We will always remember her giggles and joy for life. She attended Bay Pointe Community Church and loved to worship.
