Sandra "Sandy" Lynn King, 69, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Sandy was born on August 21, 1945 in St. Claire, MI to Hector and Melba (Ahles) Mudge. She married the love of her live Charles "Chuck" William King on June 8, 1978.
Sandy had a great love for travel, all people and cultures. She proudly accomplished her goals of career and travel with her husband as members of the Oil and Gas Industry. She made lasting lifelong friendships in every City she lived in around the world.
Sandy's work as a Hospice Volunteer was very fulfilling and meaningful to her. She received the "Volunteer of the Year" award in Hillsdale county during her time with Hospice. Recently, she requested and received help for herself and her family from Hospice at the end of her life. Because Sandy believed in hospice she would like any contribution's in her honor to go to Munson Hospice House of Traverse City.
Surviving Sandy is her husband; Chuck, parents; Hector and Melba, children; Renea (Jeff) Weatherwax, Kelly King, Dawn Johnson, David King, and Jenny (Matt) Powell, grandchildren; Christopher (Colleen) Weatherwax, Rachel Weatherwax, Shelby Johnson, Logan Johnson, Korey King, Ernie Abbott, and Wyatt Powell, a brother; David Mudge, and many other loving family members and friends around the world.
Private family services will be held at a later time.
Say not in grief, she is no more, but live in thankfulness that she was.
