On February 9th, 2016 Sarah left this world a very loved child, but had lived her whole life in complete silence and darkness. The first thing she experienced upon her departure of this earth was seeing her Savior, Jesus Christ, and all of heavens beauty with her very own eyes. She was able to hear the beautiful chorus of angels singing with her own ears and she ran and danced with perfect legs for the first time in her life. In heaven we have blessed assurance that Sarah is now complete experiencing joy like she has never known. The Shelton family feels so blessed to have had Sarah as a part of their lives for so many years and are thankful for the great privilege of caring for her. Sarah leaves behind a large loving family. Her parents, Terry and Lynn Shelton, brothers, sisters, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by everyone her life touched. She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, her brothers Toby and Darik, and her sister Lizzy Rose.
A funeral service honoring Sarah will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14th, 2016 at the Interlochen Bible Church, 2995 M-137, Interlochen, Michigan 49643, with visiting starting at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Bill Ehnis will officiate.
