Sarha Ann (Mcgee) Burk

Sarha Ann (McGee) Burk, 48 of Mesick passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2022 after experiencing a heart attack. Sarha always cared deeply for others, and even in death was able to give others the gift of life through donation.

Sarha was born on December 8, 1973 in Grand Rapids to Kenneth (Melissa) McGee and Karen Stoner.

On September 18, 2017, Sarha married her best friend, Kenneth Patrick Burk.

Sarha loved to spend time outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, being with friends and listening to country music. She also was passionate about racing cars with the Empty Pockets Racing team and loved her 1980 Mustang. This past year she was victorious and even won the grand championship in August in memory of her brother Kenny Draper. Above all else, Sarha cherished her family and loved them deeply.

Sarha was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Draper; grandparents Jerry and Arvajean Stoner, James and Janet McGee and stepdad Jim MaGoon.

Sarha is survived by her husband Kenneth; her children Lance (Mary) McGee, Rianna (Troy) Trice, Nathaniel (Ashley) Ward, Zachary Ward and Kenneth Burk; parents Kenneth (Melissa) McGee and Karen Stoner; siblings Tammy (Ben) Davila, Ralynn (Jim) Sims, Nicole Boudreaux, Amelda (Chris) Garcia, Darryll (April) Bailey, Sandra Bailey, Katrina Draper and Midge (Troy) Nixon; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Church of the First Born and Revival Center in Reed City. A memorial gathering will follow.

Interment will take place at Oakdale Cemetery in Hersey at a later date.
