Sharron Ray Borgeson

Sharron R. Borgeson, life long resident of Traverse City, passed away February 9, 2023, at the age of 81. She was born to John Emory Sr. and Lillian (Link) Emory on May 2, 1941, one of four children. Sharron graduated from Traverse City Central High School. Her father started Big Jon Downriggers which she was Office Manager of for nearly 30 years and has been the Matriarch of Warrior Lures since opening the doors. Sharron enjoyed golfing, bowling, reading a good book, holiday family gatherings and her beloved fur baby Lily. Sharron married Roger Borgeson Sr. on December 11, 1982. Sharron is survived by her children, Michael (Pam) Steffes, Patrick (Vonda) Steffes, and Michelle Smith; grandchildren, Matthew and Marissa Smith, David and Alex Steffes and two siblings, brother John Emory Jr. and Kathi (James) Downer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Borgeson Sr.; her grandparents, William Emory and Rachael (Lardie) Emory, parents, John and Lillian Emory and sister Jackie Collins.
