Sharron Ethel Lemieux

August 3, 1953 — July 25, 2015

Sharron Ethel LeMieux, 61, of Traverse City, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Sharron was born on August 3, 1953 to Gail and Alma (Kopp) Gordon in Muskegon, MI.
Sharron graduated from Western Michigan Christian in 1973. She married Martin J LeMieux on February 28th, 1976. She worked at Hackley hospital in Muskegon for 5 years before moving to Traverse City. It was her dream to move to Traverse City from Muskegon so when Marty called to ask if she wanted to move to Traverse City for a job he was taking, she said, I'm packing my bags. Sharron retired from Munson Medical Center as a Certified Cardiographic Technician in 2014 after 23 years due to her diagnosis. Sharron also cleaned houses for a number of years for so many great and loving families.

You would always see a smile on Sharron's face and could always hear her laugh and her laughter resonating over conversations that others were having. Sharron's laugh was the music with the lyrics of these conversations, whether it was at a family gathering, which was often, around a campfire or simply enjoying a cookout and lounging on her raft out in the water at the State Park Beach. If you closed your eyes, you could hear her laugh accenting a great time. Sharron accepted everyone for who they were and welcomed everyone into her home. She could never have too many friends. Sharron always said yes to everything, never maybe, let me get back to you, it was always yes, like, euchre with friends, trying to learn how to play cribbage, camping with her grandkids or whomever wanted to go, cookouts with family or traveling to Hawaii and Costa Rica with the girls. She was so proud of her children and made sure everyone knew it. Sharron enjoyed golfing, especially at the annual Boom Boom, tubing down the Boardman, traveling, happy hour with the girls or just sitting outback by the campfire watching the grandkids make s'mores. She loved her job at Munson Medical Center and her entire CDS family. They have done so much for Sharron's family and friends and know she would do the same.

Surviving Sharron are her husband, Martin J LeMieux, her children, Eric (Alison Johns )LeMieux, Lucas LeMieux and Cherese (Allen Tyrer) LeMieux, her grandchildren, Brendan LeMieux, Emma Turnquist and Parker LeMieux.
