Soren V. Jensen, 88, of Cedar, Michigan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Munson Medical Center. Soren was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1931 in Copenhagen, Denmark to the late Borge and Jutta (Steinberg) Jensen. He married Inge Steinmetz on September 22, 1956 in Copenhagen. They moved to the United States in 1956 where they raised their family.

Soren is survived by his loving wife of 64 years; Inge, two daughters and a son; Kim (Craig) Booth, Lars (Judy) Jensen and Mai (Carlton) White. Also surviving are five wonderful grandchildren; Grant Booth, Ryan Jensen, Amanda Jensen, Micah White and Aaron White.

In accordance with Soren's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life is being planned for the summer of 2021.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial donation to Westside Community Church, 4975 E. Traverse Hwy, Traverse City, Michigan, 49684.
