Steven Love, 62, of Traverse City, passed away July 28, 2017 following an accident at his home.
Steve was born October 3, 1954 to the late L.G. and Joanne (Smith) in Lansing.
Steve was a man of the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt and tend his hobby farm. He excelled at wood working of all sorts and built his own vineyard. His passion was to turn his once run down property into the thriving oasis it became. He would be doing projects, all the while with Tucker his trusty companion by his side.
He enjoyed to travel and spent much time in Alaska visiting his son and family.
Steve would best be described as; fun, witty, smart and adventurous. His presence will be missed by many.
Surviving Steve and missing him dearly are his partner and best friend Janell Wheat, his sons; Christopher (Collen) and Nicholas (Alexandra), his brothers; Sam Love and Scott (Susan) Love, nieces and nephews; Samantha (Craig), Cassidy, Jacob, Omar, Sophie and Olivia as well as grandchildren; Landis, Sawyer, Nadia and Sophia. He is also survived and missed by an amazing group of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law Sally.
A celebration of Life will take place at 1PM, Saturday August 5, 2017 at their farm on old mission peninsula, his favorite place.
