TRAVERSE CITY – Susan Kay (Dick) Ely, 70, of Traverse City, passed away on June 5, 2015, at Munson Hospice House with her family by her side.
Susan was born August 17, 1944, in Hudson, MI to the late Clifton and Thelma (Palms) Dick.
Surviving Susan is her son Chris (Shannon) Steiner, daughter Jennifer Ely and her friend Brian Egeler, sister Karen Dick and her beloved grandchildren Alyssa and Kylie Steiner. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Susan was a wonderful grandmother and will be remembered as a great listener. She was someone that her family could always count on to be there.
The family will hold a private ceremony to remember Susan at a later time.
