Tammy Lynn Fouch

Tammy Lynn Fouch, age 66, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Munson Medical Center.
She was born December 31, 1956 in Traverse City where she grew up, completed school and raised her family. She worked part time for the Traverse City Public School in food service, but she went on to work 30 years at the Interlochen Arts Academy cooking and serving food to the students and staff. She loved getting to know the students, and many grew very fond of Tammy who was always known for a smile and a joke. Even after she retired, students reached out to check in on her. She was known for preparing special food for students she learned had dietary limitations. The students were why she stayed all those years.
Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Fouch, mother Donna Mae Saxton and brother, Daniel Saxton.
Tammy is survived by her life partner of 33 years, James Edwardson; daughter Melissa Fouch; two sons Nick (Elena) Fouch and Zak (Tosha Watley) Edwardson; five grandchildren Jeffrey, Ruslan, Kai, Kyran and Kelsi. She is also survived by her father Wayne (Mae Titus) Saxton; her sisters Julia (Paul Gilbert) Dornan and Shawn Saxton; and extended family and friends.
