Teena Ann Shupert, of Cedar, MI and Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the Munson Hospice House with her husband by her side.

Teena was born in Flint, MI on November 26, 1945. As a young girl, her father’s job at General Motors moved the family to Livonia, MI where Teena was raised. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Education; however, life led her to the field of medical sales in which she had a long and successful career. The first female salesperson in her area, she won several “Salesman of the Year” awards. Teena was an avid runner and enjoyed hiking and the outdoors.

Teena is survived by her husband of 47 years this year, Mike Shupert; brother, Steve Ford of Commerce, MI, and five beloved nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Reba (Smith) Ford, and her sister, Barbara Ford.

Per Teena’s wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be head. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Teena may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind.
