Terri Marie Ramsey

Terri Marie Ramsey, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Terri was born on April 13, 1957, to her parents, Chester P. and Lillian J. (née Kotasek) Simonelli. She grew up alongside her siblings, Sandy, Tim, and David, and carried a strong sense of family throughout her life.

Terri dedicated many years of her career as an office manager for numerous communications companies, where she was known for her reliability, and kindhearted nature. She married the love of her life, David Ramsey, and together they shared 22 wonderful years of marriage before Dave’s passing in 2023. Though they had no children, Terri and Dave shared a love for their many beloved dogs throughout the years, each proudly named after players from the Detroit Red Wings. Their most recent companion was Murphy.

Terri and Dave enjoyed traveling together and especially loved visiting historical battlefields, where they spent countless hours learning and appreciating history. Terri was also a gifted crocheter whose hands were rarely still. She lovingly created baby clothes, shawls, winter attire, and countless handmade treasures for family and friends. In quieter moments, she could often be found enjoying a good book.

Terri was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Ramsey, and her mother, Lillian Simonelli.

She is survived by her father, Chester Simonelli; her siblings, Timothy Simonelli, David (Tami) Simonelli, and Sandra (Jeffrey) Wagner; her nephew, Scott (Taunee) Simonelli; and her nieces, Chloe (Anthony) Giordano, and Nichole Wagner; great nephew Mason Simonelli, and great niece Emersyn Giordano.

A celebration of Terri’s life will take place at a later date.
