Terry L. Addington, 77, of Traverse City, Michigan, formerly of Remus, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family and grand dog, Juner. Terry was born on November 22, 1947, in Lakeview, Michigan to Robert and Violet, (Cummings) Bradin.

Terry loved and lived for her family and friends. She enjoyed making special meals, cookies, pies, and strawberry jam. No one will forget her scrubbies and dish rags. Spending time with family and friends, at bluegrass festivals, NASCAR and the lake properties were among her favorite things.

Terry is survived by her loving husband, James Addington, a daughter, Becky (Carl) Lindsey, a son, Paul (Dawn) Addington, a daughter, Kerry (David) Myers, and a son, Steve (Nicole) Addington. Also surviving are her sisters, Mary (Bill) Schoner, Betty Wernette-Babian, and a brother Ed (Kim) Wernette.
Grandchildren Keri (John) Dennis, Kyle Shepard, Chelsea Rehkopf, Aidan and Jacob Addington, Alison and Ashley Meyers and Olivia and Lily Addington as well as great-grandchildren Bradin, Adalynn and Korryn.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jon Shepard and Will Shepard, parents, Violet and Don Wernette, her father, Robert Bradin and a brother, Garry Braden.

A celebration of Terry's life will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Mecosta VFW Post 2335, 1050 W. Main St.(M-20), Mecosta, Michigan 49332.
