TRAVERSE CITY – Theresa "Terry" Ann Whann, 57, of Traverse City, passed away on June 1, 2015, at Munson Hospice House with her loving husband and family at her side.
Terry was born July 14, 1957, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Walter and Dolores (Brost) Muller. She grew up in Fowler, IN, where she was one of 10 children. She married the love of her life, Sean Ronan, in a private ceremony at Munson Hospice House on May 14th, 2015.
Terry attended the Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne, IN where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. While attending college, Terry played on both the college volleyball and basketball teams. Later in life she became an accomplished golfer and was known to have beaten the boys on more than one occasion. Terry retired to Traverse City in 2011 after a career in the financial services.
Terry is survived by her husband Sean and his children and grandchildren, daughter Holley (Mike) Norum and daughter Breanna. Daughter Jennifer Ronan and children Lorenzo, Dominic Sean, Giuliana and Natalia, Daughter Penelope, (Gary) Varnell and daughter Alexi. Terrys' brothers and sisters, Cathy (Charlie) Young, Peggy (Larry) Pfeifer, Joe Muller, Mike Muller, Tony Muller, her twin brother Mark (Elizabeth) Muller, Andy (Cheryl) Muller, Jackie (Ed) Harris. She is also survived by her very special nephew Brian Young. She was "Super Aunt Terry" to 19 nieces and nephews, and 21 grand nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by her mom and dad and brother Matt Muller, and first husband William (Bill) Whann.
The family will celebrate Terry's life privately at a later date.
