Thomas William Corcoran of Williamsburg passed away suddenly on February 4, 2014 at his residence at the age of 54. Tom was born May 18, 1959 in Detroit, MI. to John and Mary (East) Corcoran. Tom's family moved to Traverse City in 1970. Tom was a graduate of Traverse City Senior High School and attended NMC.
On May 27, 1989 Tom married the love of his life, Connie Smith, who survives him. For the past 18 years, Tom worked at The Traverse City Golf and Country Club creating tasty meals. Tom enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions-primarily the first half, golfing, reading, movies and music. Considered the fifth Beatle, by those who knew him well, Tom never missed an opportunity to burst into song. His ability to make everyone laugh will be sorely missed.
Tom is predeceased by his father and his brother Jim. In addition to his wife Connie, he is survived by his mother, Mary Corcoran, sisters; Margaret (Scott) Brown of Holt, MI, Patricia (Brian Lemcke) Corcoran of Sequim, WA, brother; Mike Corcoran of Traverse City, in-laws Vernon and Dorothy Smith, and several nieces and nephews
