Thomas L. Holtrey

Thomas Lavern Holtrey, 65, passed away September 24, 2019 at Munson Medical Center.
Thomas Lavern Holtrey was born on July 29, 1954 to the late Charles M. Holtrey Jr. and Maxine Burns in Frankfort, MI. After moving, he always enjoyed returning to share that very special place to him with his family. The light house was one of his favorite stops.
He was a man of many interests; from U of M basketball and football to the best of bargains at a yard sale and everything in between. He loved a good western especially staring John Wayne and had a keen eye for collecting coins, CD's and stereos. He will be missed by all that knew him with his infectious smile and quirky tricks and pranks.
Thomas is missed dearly by his wife Carol and his daughters; Heather (Bobby), Stormy, Autumn, Aurora and his son Thomas Holtrey II. He is also survived and missed by his 7 grandchildren and one great grandson.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, and his daughter Mellissa.
A Funeral Service will take place Friday October 4, 2019 at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home at 11:00am with visitation one-hour prior.
