Thomas "Toby" Verdier Boynton-Fisher
Traverse City – Toby Boynton-Fisher, 43, died unexpectedly August 14th, 2021.
Toby was born August 22nd, 1977 in Traverse City, MI He graduated from Leland Public School in 1996 and then went on to get a degree from Emory University. A love of golf ultimately led him to Professional Golfers Career College.
On April 2nd, 2005 Toby married Alysia Balistreri and they set to work building a family. He provided for his family as owner and operator of the Traverse City Golf Center. Many are told to find something they love and choose it as a career – Toby did just that.
Toby never compromised in work or play. His circle of friends was enormous and he was usually right in the middle of it dancing. His children were his heart and he delighted in nurturing them in their pursuits.
This obituary has a homework assignment (did we mention he had a teaching degree too?). Do something completely random and kind for someone and tell them that Toby sent you to do it. Extra credit if it is for a child.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Larry and Jacqueline Verdier, Thomas and Beatrice Marantette, John and Janice Fisher and father Frank David Boynton IV.
He leaves behind the love of his life, Alysia and three children Thomas Jack, Tyler Max and Isabella Alyse. Parents Nancy and Jeffrey Fisher. Siblings Christopher (Haylee) Fisher, David (Emily) Boynton, Morgan Fisher and Amy (Dallas) Drake.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 19th 3-7pm at Bayview Weddings 8629 East Lincoln Road Cedar, MI.
