Timothy Frederick Arant

Timothy Frederick Arant, 56, of Traverse City, formerly of Brunswick, Georgia passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2023 with his loving parents at his side. Tim was born on December 21, 1966 in Canton, Ohio to Frederick and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Marie (Mercer) Arant.

When Tim got sick, his mom and step-dad graciously brought him home and cared for him until he passed. Tim graduated from Northwood Institute with a Bachelors Degree in Business. He was a very talented and hardworking woodworker all of his life, creating beautiful custom cabinets. Tim is survived by his mom Jackie and step-dad Ken Hand, his son, Timothy Patrick Arant, and brothers and families, Christopher Arant and sister-in-law Michelle, nephew Alex and niece Ashleigh, Michael Arant and sister-in-law Darlene, nephews Austin and Daniel.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Arant and father, Fred Arant.

Mass will be held at 11am on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with visitation held from 10-11am. Burial will take place the same day at 9am at Oakwood Catholic Cemetery.
