Obituary

Tommy James Wysocki, 73, of Traverse City passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Tommy was born on Easter Sunday, April 9, 1944 to Chester and Evelyn (Forton) Wysocki in Traverse City, MI. He graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central School. After high school Tommy entered the construction trades as a brick layer. He worked all over the country with some of his notable work being projects with Dow Chemical, the Upper Peninsula mines and multiple projects in Minnesota and the Dakotas. Tommy was a proud member of the Local Nines Bricklayer Union.

He enjoyed deer hunting at the family cabin in Kalkaska and fishing whitefish and lake trout on East Bay. Tommy bowled with his family in a league in Traverse City and knew all the morel mushroom hunting spots.

Tommy is survived by his fiancé of 40 years Jackie Jacobs; sons Tony (Christine) Reed and Cory Boradus; sister Ann (Gale) Schaub; brother Joe Wysocki; grandsons Tony Reed, Jordan Reed and Adam Reed; granddaughter Kylie Jacobs; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Per Tommy's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will hold privates services at a later date.
