TRAVERSE CITY — Our earth angel, Tracy Edna Gourlay, went to heaven on March 21, 2011, due to natural causes. We were first blessed with Tracy Edna on Oct. 19, 1989. Throughout the 21 years of being with us, Tracy Edna has always been a breath of fresh air and has taught so many to listen and to see the world around us. Although Tracy could not speak with verbal words, she spoke with her eyes and expressions. She is and will always be a gift to our family and friends. We are all so blessed with the footprints she has left on our hearts. She will always be loved and remembered as the daughter, sister and aunt who has given us unconditional love and asked for nothing in return. She will be able to run, dance and be free. A seed of hope! We love you, Tracy Edna, Sweet Pea! Tracy is survived by her parents, Jim and Doris, of Traverse City; her sisters, Tina (Casey) Schaub, Tami Gourlay and Treasa (Josh) Merchant; brother, Anthony Gourlay; and her grandparents, Alice Gourlay, and Edmund and Kathryn duChemin. Tracy is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Andrew, Samantha, Kaylee, Gavyn and Gracie. Tracy was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Gourlay. Tracy's family will be having a luncheon for friends and family to join at West Side Community Church on Friday March 25, 2011, from 2 to 5 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan, 230 Huron View Boulevard, Ann Arbor, MI 48103.The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
