KINGSLEY — Traisen Jace Achard, infant son of Troy and Jill (Brodbent) Achard, was stillborn on his due date Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Nov. 20, 2011 — a date that many babies were probably due, but one in particular...baby boy Achard. All excitement and joy turned to hurt, sadness, confusion and anger — silence. We'll miss you dearly that we know, but by God you were chosen, so to heaven you must go."Traisen is survived by his Mom and Dad, Troy and Jill (Brodbent) Achard, of Kingsley; his sister, Kenai Nicole, and brother, Zayden James; his Grandpa and Grandma, Jim and Marilyn Achard, of Traverse City; his great grandmother, Ida Hanell, of Traverse City; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.Traisen was preceded in death by his Grandma, Tamlyn Jill Bivins.Visitation will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Traverse City at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, with funeral to follow at 2 p.m., and a luncheon afterwards. Pastor Paul Busekist will be officiating.Following cremation, Traisen's remains will be buried at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens at a date to be determined later.Rather than flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
