Trevor Lee Beardsley

TRAVERSE CITY - Trevor Lee Beardsley, 41, of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2018 along with his beloved black lab Ruby. Trevor was born March 7, 1976 in Traverse City to his parents Robin Leroy and Patsy Lee (Hardy) Beardsley.
Trevor graduated from Traverse City High School in 1994 and later worked as a sheet metal worker for local 7 then became a mechanical contractor owning his own HVAC business.
He had a wonderful and genuine heartfelt smile that would lighten the spirits of everyone he met and knew. He was free spirited with a kind and gentle heart and would always be there to generously help out in any situation and for any reason. He loved his family and many friends and they loved him.
Trevor had a passion for snowboarding, boating and kayaking, fishing, bonfires and being out doors sharing a beer with his family and his many friends. Trevor was secure in his faith and proud of being baptized at New Hope Community Church in 2011.
He is survived by his mother, Patsy Lee Beardsley and father; Robin "Rob" Leroy (Gayle Lautner) Beardsley; brother, Brandon (Jamie Sharpe) Beardsley; nephew, Lucas Beardsley and Andrew; grandmother, Dorothy Stone.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Elsie and Leonard Beardsley, Gordon Hardy; stepfather, Morley Stone.
A memorial service will be held on February 3, at 2 pm at the New Hope Community Church in Williamsburg with visitation held one hour prior at 1 pm. A luncheon will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers please direct all memorial contributions in Trevor's name c/o Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home or 4 Front Credit Union, for a monument to be placed near the river.
