Trinidad George Esquivel

August 4, 1963 — February 3, 2022

Trinidad George Esquivel of Taylor, Michigan, formerly of Traverse City, age 58, passed away on February 3, 2022.

He was born in Pullman, Michigan to Jose Esquivel and Mary (Lawrence) Wright on August 4, 1963.

Trinidad was one-of-a-kind and special to the many who knew and loved him. He was an incredibly talented crafter and woodworker and was gifted in the kitchen as well. Trinidad loved the great outdoors, whether it be tending to his garden, fishing, or hunting for Petoskey stones-- he was quite the "Rock Hound." He loved rooting for the Detroit Tigers, listening to rock and roll music, and building a good fire to sit around.

He was generous and loving, and as Rebecca would affectionately call him, "Strong like bull."

Trinidad will be sadly missed, yet fondly remembered by all those who knew him.

Trinidad is survived by his wife beloved wife Rebecca (MacDonald) Esquivel; children Devin and Kayla Esquivel; step-daughter Amber Krumm; siblings Jose (Theresa) Esquivel, Dennis Esquivel, Linda Esquivel, Leonard Winfrey, and Karl Peckstein, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved members of the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
