Beulah Ulaine Peplinski "Ulaine" 81 of Maple City passed away April 15, 2019 at Medilodge of Suttons Bay.
Ulaine was born August 4, 1937 in Brantford, Ontario to parents John and Alta (Hart) Allen.
Ulaine was all about family, and happiest when everyone was together. She loved to help in the kitchen or any type of special event. She also served on the luncheon committee for several years at St. Rita-St. Joseph Parish. She loved to travel with her husband Fred in their motorhome, escaping winter to Florida and Arizona. Ulaine's vibrant smile is already missed by us all.
Ulaine is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Frederick James Peplinski; children Cindy (Bob) Moser, Brenda (Richard) Murnane and Walter (Cheryl) Peplinski; grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Debra, Shawna, Danielle, Brandon, Taylor, Heather, Ashley and David Jr.; several great-grandchildren; brother Ron (Pauline) Allen; and many special nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; children Debra Ann, David James and Susan Ulaine; grandchildren Ryan Michael and Lisa Eileen; son-in-law Jeff Jones; and siblings Rita, Howard and Alvin.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 AM, Wednesday April 24, 2019 at St. Rita-St. Joseph Parish, 8707 Hill Street, Maple City, MI 49664. Visitation will take place 5-7 PM, Tuesday April 23, 2019, Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49684. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM.
