Uriah John Howard Colby, 33, of Traverse City passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Uriah was born on May 27, 1992 in Traverse City.

Throughout his life, Uriah was surrounded by love and care. He lived with Mitch and Deb Cullen until the age of 30, and they provided him with a nurturing and supportive home. He later moved to the Lincoln House in Cedar, Michigan, where he was also cared for with kindness and compassion.

Uriah enjoyed the simple joys of life. He loved watching SpongeBob SquarePants and television, and he cherished his yearly trip to La Señorita with his dad and brother Jesse. He had a gentle spirit, a love for dogs, and will be remembered as a good and kind-hearted soul.

He is survived by his dad William Otto, his brother Jesse and many other special family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-5pm with a service starting at 3pm at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
