Violet Irene Browell, 91, of Traverse City passed away on January 9, 2016 with her loving family surrounding her.
Violet was born on November 7, 1924 to the late Henry and Josephine (Shifflet) Napper in Vinton County, Ohio.
Violet retired from General Tire and Rubber of Marion Indiana and then relocated to the Traverse City area to be near her family.
Among the pleasures of her life were football, gardening and sharing a warm cup of coffee with a friend.
Violet is survived by her daughter Doris (Roderick "Rick") Groesser of Lake Leelanau; grandchildren, Tonya (Brett) Lawicki, Pete (Patty) Groesser, Wendy Cooper; great grandchildren, Autumn French, Austin Lawicki, Kayla Lawicki, Kira (Frank) Cabrera, Dakota Phillips and Tabitha Groesser, Great great grandchildren Luna and Oliver; Brother William "Buddy" (Rebekka) Napper; sister, Icy Potts and special friends Virgie (Andy) Shellenbarger and many other loving family members and friends.
Violet is proceeded in death by her parents; brothers Willard Napper, John Napper; sisters Cloris Arnold, Audrey Hogue, Slora Danko, Desta Brooks and Sarah Hill.
